Veterinary Service with Courtesy & Respect!

1

Arrival

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we’ll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet.
2

Pet Medical History

In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
3

Examination

Then, our veterinarian will examine your pet, ask you further questions and then may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Once the tests have been run, which can usually be done in the practice, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if warranted.
4

Communication

This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.
5

Follow Up Care

Our veterinary technician will come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information and answer wellness and care questions for you. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow up.

Our Promise

Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

New Client Deposit

At Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, we strive to provide the most accommodating and fair services to all patients and clients. Our goal is to provide the most timely care we can, with respect not only to the doctor’s schedule but to the ever-growing demand for appointments.

Effective immediately, we are now requiring all new clients or inactive clients (any client that has not been in the office for 2+ years) to pay a non-refundable deposit to reserve their first appointment. The deposit will be equal to the cost of the exam fee. Our hope is to reduce no-shows and missed appointments, therefore increasing our ability to help more pets in need.

We understand that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please call our office at 704-636-6613 or email us at sams.critterdoc@gmail.com at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
